Have you wondered who provides the “Best Way to Hear Local Musicians Put Their Stamp on Classic Albums“? The SF Weekly has made that distinction clear by awarding UnderCover Presents with just that honor this week in their SF Weekly Best of Awards. Congratulations to UCP’s Founder & Co-Producer Lyz Luke, Co-Producer Yosh! Haraguchi and the hundreds of talented Bay Area musicians who make UnderCover possible.
Black Sabbath officially released Paranoid to the US in 1971 and to date it is one of their most popular and influential albums. This May, Faultline Studios and UnderCover Presents are thrilled to re-introduce Paranoid as you've never imagined it before.
Guest Musical Director Cornelius Boots has selected a line up of bay area musicians based on their ability to shred — whether that’s a trumpet, a guitar or vocally, the line up is chocked full of musicians at the top of their game. Ranging from a full marching band to gamelan ensemble to straight up rock band the night promises a musical journey like no other.
Come check out these bands throw down Saturday May 19th at The Independent. Studio album of the project (produced by Faultline’s own Yosh!) is included in the ticket price.
Tune in now to KALX 90.7 FM and listen for previews of the album as well as a chance to win tickets to the show.
